Original Initial review: Standard AC game, but theyve made some very noticeable changes. Changing to using RT+B to jump off or down instead of RT+A is a little unnecessary. Stealth and Combat feel more realistic. BUT I HAVE THIS ONE GRIPE. I CANNOT ROTATE THE CAMERA AND BE ABLE TO HAVE IT REMAIN IN THAT ORIENTATION WHILST I STAND STILL. Also they got rid of fast walk and I kinda miss it. Updated review: What fresh hell is this. So I began playing the Jack the Ripper DLC and my my... I honestly don't think it was play tested. Animations in the base game occasionally were buggy, but for 1/3 cutscenes to have floating bags, NPCs not interacting with cutscenes and unrendered faces be present... the combat is overwhelming. Theres what feels like far too many enemies on the playing field. AND THE GRAPPLING HOOK! WHY? Have we honestly gotten so lazy that youre not going to cheat right? I'm all for giving casual and new players a way to not be killed, but sliding up? Get the physics right.
