Free Pokemon Tv Episodes

The Pokemon TV app is a free to download digital streaming service that allows fans to watch select episodes of the Pokemon anime series, along with the occasional animated Pokemon movie. The original Pokemon series, titled Pocket Monsters, followed the storyline of the original Pokemon games, Pokemon Red and Blue, in the region of Kanto. The protagonist of the series, Ash Ketchum, began his adventure from his home, Pallet Town, where he received a Pikachu, differing from the games, where only Bulbasaur, Charmander or Squirtle could be chosen.

Available content

Pokémon TV is available both in the official Pokémon website and as an app in a total of 13 languages: English (United States and United Kingdom), French, German, Italian, European Spanish, Latin American Spanish, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, Norwegian, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, and Swedish.

Episodes on the service are divided into a number of channels, which contain a collection of episodes and are rotated regularly. Movies, special episodes, and selections of episodes are also made available in the service for a limited time.

Episodes

For the American English service, episodes from Pokémon the Series: The Beginning (seasons 1 and 2), Pokémon the Series: Ruby and Sapphire (seasons 6 and 7), and Pokémon the Series: Sun & Moon (seasons 20, 21, and 22) are available. Pokémon the Series: Gold and Silver (seasons 3, 4, and 5) was previously available, but has since been rotated out. Each season is divided into volumes of roughly 12 episodes, similarly to the digital home video releases.

Currently, episodes have been added monthly by season and rotated out by series upon adding the first season of the following series, with the exception of Pokémon the Series: The Beginning. Episodes from the currently airing Pokémon the Series: Sun & Moon are added every Friday. Prior to the February 2019 overhaul, the service made ten episodes available for each series, rotating every Friday to remove the earliest five episodes and add the next five.

The episodes below are excluded from rotations in the following languages:

  • Danish: Seasons 3, 4, 5
  • Finnish: Seasons 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7
  • Norwegian: Seasons 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8
  • Swedish: Seasons 2, 3, 4, 5
  • Russian: Seasons 1, 2, 3, 4, 5

The other language services otherwise have identical availability to the American English service with the exception of the currently airing season. For the Brazilian Portuguese and Latin American Spanish services, seasons of the currently airing series prior to the most recent available season are not available in full and instead only have ten episodes available at a time.

Movies

One Pokémon movie is normally made available for one or two weeks per month in release order. Pokémon 4Ever, Pokémon Heroes: Latios & Latias, Jirachi: Wish Maker, and Destiny Deoxys are not shown on the service due to their rights being owned by Miramax Films. Pokémon 4Ever was previously shown on the service, but has since been skipped in rotations.

The movies below are excluded from rotations in the following languages:

  • Dutch: Movie 4
  • Danish: Movies 1, 8, 9
  • Finnish: Movies 8, 9, 13
  • Norwegian: Movies 8, 9
  • Russian: Movie 4
  • Swedish: Movies 1, 8, 9
  • Brazilian Portuguese: Movie 11

Specials
